My play CRAZY BETTY was an O'Neill finalist and a semi-finalist for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival and the Bechdel Test Festival. My play Birmingham Blues, about homelessness, played to sold-out audiences in Sacramento, CA where it was recognized for Outstanding Achievement for Original Script by the Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance. My short works have appeared in the Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival and the Women's Work Festival in Nashville, Tennessee. I have also been a finalist in Berkeley Rep's Ground Floor Program. My monologue No Breathing Room was published by Applause Books; and my play ALABAMA BOUND appeared in the NYC International Fringe Festival and was published in Indie Theatre Now's Best of the 2013 NYC Fringe Collection. The play has played to sold-out audiences throughout California and the MidWest. A native Alabamian, I now live in Northern California.
