Biography
Lori is a playwright and dramaturg working toward her MFA in playwriting (expected 2025). in 2026 she was a semifinalist in the O'Neill New Works Competition and a finalist in Echo Theater Company's New Play Competition (Los Angeles). She is also a dramaturg who worked on Andrea Stolowitz's new play "The Berlin Diaries".

In December of 2025 Lori earned her MFA in playwriting from the Naslund-Mann School of Writing at Spalding University in Kentucky. Since completing her degree, she has been names a semifinalist in the O’Neill New Works Competition and a finalist in Echo Theatre’s New Play Competition. Echo has also commissioned her for a new work. Lori began the craft of playwriting in 1999. Since then, she has experienced successful local, national and international productions. Lori was an artist-in-residence at MuCCC Theatre from 2010-2020. In April of 2021, Lori received the Waterman’s Community Theatre residency in North Haven, Maine. The summer of 2024, Lori participated in One Year Lease’s overseas residency program in Greece. For one month she learned both acting and playwriting from international theatre professionals including Ellen McLaughlin, Rinde Eckert, Leon Ingulsrud, Akiko Aizawa, Natalie Lomonte, and Georgia Tsagaraki. Lori as serves as Dramaturg for Center Stage in Rochester, NY.
