Biography
I am a psychotherapist, as well as a playwright, novelist and mystery-short story writer. My first short play, The Gatekeeper, took first place in all categories in the 2012 Fringe of Marin (CA)-- the play was also chosen as one of the best plays in the 25 year history of the Fringe (2016).Many of my plays have been produced or received developmental readings including "And So," at Flush Ink Productions in Toronto, Canada.
"A Clean Well-Lighted Park Bench" was part of the Theatre Bay Area Best Play Anthology in 2016 for PCSF's Sheherazade. There was a full-length reading of that play at the Shelton theatre, SF, 2019.
I have four short story collections, Mystery Montage, Crime Montage, Confetti, and Deadly Illusions. My fifth collection, "Fear of the Number 13 Support Group, and other Psychological Mysteries" will be out in 20/20. My short story "Homeless" was a Derringer and Anthony Award finalist, while "Pa and the Pigeon Man" was nominated for a Pushcart. Please visit me at www.patricialmorin.com
