Kate Perry known as a 'collector of people', was born in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland. She moved to San Francisco where she fell into acting and writing and has been making people laugh every since.

She has written for Woman’s Hour, BBC R4, BBC NI and RTE. Tamsin Greig (Episodes), Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones) and Doreen Keogh (The Royale Family) are a few of the actors who have read her work on BBC R4.

Her one woman show The Very Perry Show, featuring a pair of goggles, a rubber hat and a can of WD40 has been garnering 4 star reviews and recently won Best Comedy Show Award at the United Theater Solo Festival in New York. Check her out!

Kate graduated with an MPhil in Creative Writing (With distinction), Trinity College, Dublin and holds an MA in Screenwriting, (First class honours), Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology. She has been the recipient of Arts Council funding and has spent time in artist residencies in Ireland and the USA.

She now lives in London and is on the constant look out for characters to add to her collection.
