Biography
Lisa Randall has been an actor, dancer, lyricist, singer, popular theatre facilitator and now playwright. In the 90’s she recorded two albums of original music with pop band, Freedom Rains. With over 25 years in non-profit management experience, Lisa regularly infuses her community work with the arts. She recently received a grant from Theatre Ontario to be mentored in play writing. Lisa received a diploma in Acting from Studio 58, a BA in Social Development Studies from U of Waterloo and an MA from Athabasca U in Cultural Studies and Organization, Work and Leadership.
Her first play, The Sorauren Book Club is about a women's neighbourhood book club that has an charged and eventful meeting discussing a controversial book that surfaces many issues and secrets.
