 The Orchae

The play takes place in a conservation area in the West Australian bush looking for the rare and elusive Western Underground Orchid which grows and flowers hidden below the ground and is critically endangered.  The play includes cultivation of the rare orchids, studies of the soil of Western Australia with science affected by finance, politics and human nature.
